At 1147 lbs, this is one of the heavier doors we ever built. Do not try this at home! Structurally this pushed everything to the limit but has worked very well. Four years later, the door is still delivering reliable service and the owner is very happy with it.

Moulton Custom Door was awarded Second place by the Vermont Fine Woodworking Association's Fine Furniture and Wood Products Design Competition in 2006.  While we would rather have taken First, we feel it is an honor for a garage door to get recognition from such a panel for a furniture craftsmanship type award.
